The Nanny and eight other domestic staff of Nigerian singer David Adeleke popularly known as Davido have been arrested for questioning regarding the death of three years old Ifeanyi Adeleke who drowned in a pool.
According to reports, the domestic staff were picked up immediately the little boy was confirmed dead on arrival at the hospital has stayed for too long in the pool.
The singer and his fianceé Chioma Rowland went for a function in Ibadan as such left little Ifeanyi with his Nanny who is saddled with the responsibility of taking care of him.
How the little one found his way to the pool is yet to be unravelled as the police have launched investigation.
Recall that DNH earlier reported that the little Ifeanyi has been confirmed dead as a result of him drowning in his father’s Banana Island Mansion in Lagos State.
Ifeanyi who was born in 2019 was said to have been underwater for a very long time before being spotted and rushed to a hospital in the Lekki area of the state, he was, however, confirmed dead on arrival. The horrific incident happened on Monday night, a few days after his third birthday on October 20, 2022.
