Causes of miscarriage: Miscarriage is one of the means a pregnant woman loses her pregnancy and this happens mostly in the 20th week of the pregnancy.
The joy of becoming a mother most times are cut short by miscarriage which results in physical, mental, and emotional breakdown for most women.

1. Miscarriage occurs in pregnancy when the foetus is not functioning well. Foetus simply means an unborn child. To avoid this go for regular check-ups to enable medical experts to ascertain the well-being of the unborn child.

2. Bad breath: this is an unwanted odour that comes out of the mouth due to a lack of proper cleaning. As a pregnant woman ensure you properly wash your mouth to avoid bad breath which can lead to the loss of pregnancy. Use dental-approved toothpaste to wash your mouth two times daily and see a dentist.
3. Smoking: Medically it is said that smokers are liable to die young, how much more a pregnant woman carrying another life. As an expectant mother say no to smoking and protect your unborn child. If you smoke kindly channel your urge to healthy foods that will keep your baby healthy.
4. Alcohol and hard drug: This factor is a deadly force which can terminate a pregnancy, also say no to the habit of drinking alcohol and hard drugs which will not only lead to a miscarriage but will also put your life in danger.
5. Unclean environment: Cleanliness they say is next to Godliness, so if you want to start your nine monthly journeys to motherhood and end it successfully ensure you keep your environment clean and healthy because an unclean environment can cut short your journey to becoming a mother.
