Carter Efe, who is a Nigerian Skit Maker and an upcoming artist (singer) has taken to his twitter handle to clear the air about certain misconceptions that are being circulated online, with regards the ownership of the Hit Track, “Machala”.
Remember that yesterday, Dynamic News Hub reported that the Skit Maker Carter Efe slammed Berri Tiga, whom he featured in “Machala”, over the rightful ownership the song.
Taking to his twitter handle, in the late hours of 16 September, Carter apologised to his fans, friends, families and supporters about his emotional outburst regarding the “Machala” track.
He also made statements that helped clear the misconceptions that circulated on social media.
According to the letter he posted on his social media, Efe said that he featured Berri Tiga on the track “Machala” just like other artists do and he financed the marketing and distribution expenses of the track.
The letter also stated that he has signed an agreement with Berri Tiga regarding the terms of engagement and they were both represented by experienced entertainment lawyers.
Carter further stated via his letter that he couldn’t disclose the terms and conditions of the contract because of the confidentiality clause it has.
“I featured Berri Tiga on the track “Machala” just like other artists do and I financed the marketing and distribution expenses of the track”.
“I have signed an agreement with Berri Tiga regarding the terms of engagement and we were both represented by experienced entertainment lawyers”.
The Skit Maker, Efe also urged his fans and Nigerians as a whole, to stream the Hit Song, “Machala” as it is out again on all digital platforms.
Recall that since the release of Machala a song dedicated to Wizkid the singer has been in a heated drama with his friend over the ownership of the song.
