Akon, a Senegalese-American singer, has discussed the traits and influences that distinguish the top Nigerian Afrobeats musicians from other performers in the genre.
He mentioned Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido as the three largest Afrobeats artists who came to the top because to their distinctive abilities and hard work.
The billionaire expressed his admiration for Burna Boy’s current movement during an interview with American media personality Sway Calloway that aired on Sirius XM Satellite Radio.
He calls Burna a “beast” who is currently ruling the scene in part because of the guy who is endorsing him.
Akon also mentioned Wizkid as a natural superstar who could just release one song in a year and it would remain current and well-liked for the whole of the year.
In addition, he claimed that Davido put in the most effort of all the artists because he had to prove himself when he first entered the industry.
OBO was able to obtain a space for himself, according to Akon, with the assistance of his parents, which he then used to release records back-to-back at frequent intervals.
He claimed that the DMW bpss valued number over quality and that it was this approach that helped him succeed as opposed to his competitors, who relied on alternative methods.
The creator of Konvict Music also discussed Mr. Eazi, the Banku crooner, saying that while he is intelligent, he is more of a businessman than an artist.
