Grammy award winning Afro pop singer, Burna Boy, has received another accolade as he bags two awards at the 2022 MOBO awards.
The 2022 MOBO Awards event took place at the OVO Arena in Wembley, London.
The 2022 MOBO Awards was hosted by Chunkz & Yung Filly on the last day of November and other popular Nigerian stars were given the chance to perform in the event; the likes of Fireboy was present.
Burna was awarded for the Best African Act and Best International Act.
The Odogwu, as he is often called, has once again made his fans and Rivers State at large proud.
This news comes some weeks after the Grammy winner, Burna Boy boasted that anyone who had not made up to 100million naira this year is not on the same level with him.
Some weeks ago, he signed an endorsement deal with tech brand, Oraimo.
“Burna Boy is now officially a part of the oraimo family! We are super excited to have him on board as our official brand ambassador”.
“Who better to frontline the oraimo brand than the African Giant himself! Welcome, Burna Boy!” oraimo shared the news online.
Burna reacted on his new deal with the tech firm, saying, “Checking in with Africa’s No.1 @oraimoclub.” It was unknown how much the partnership was worth at the time of filing this report.
