BREAKING: A fire broke out at the Federal Ministry of Finance in the early hours of today.
The fire was started by an explosion of expired inverter batteries in the basement of the Minister’s building, according to eyewitnesses.
However, security guards on the premises quickly put out the fire, and no one was injured nor the structure damaged.

The incident was referred as a “small fire incident” by the ministry official.
Eye witnesses also said before the arrival of the Fire Service men, the fire extinguishers strategically placed throughout the premises were used to successfully fight the fire.
