Legendary Nigerian singer, Blackface has called out fast rising Afrobeats star, Asake for copying his song.
In a recent interview with Naija FM, Blackface alleged that Asake without authorization, copied his song to make his hit single, ‘Joha’.
Blackface who expressed that he was aware of himself being an inspiration to young singers, noted disappointed with the unauthorized use of his songs to form theirs; as it makes him feel cheated.
“Asake Saga is from my song , Ikebe supper. I know I am an inspiration to them.Because me sef I need to find where this current of inspiration gruesome to me, by isolating myself waiting for this wind of music. So if the wind of music come and someone takes it, it makes me feel somehow,” he said.
