Ben Feigin the executive producer of ‘Schitt’s Creek’ and an Emmy winner is reported to have died at the age of 47 after battling cancer.
Feigin, who is best known for his work as an executive producer of “Schitt’s Creek”, died on Monday, October 24, 2022.
His death was confirmed by the late producer’s rep to The Post.
According to Deadline, Feigin played a crucial role in “Schitt’s Creek’s” success by locating unconventional finance to market the Canadian comedy. He created both the Netflix documentary “Best Wishes, Warmest Regards: A Schitt’s Creek Farewell” and the show’s international Live Nation tour.
Ben Feigin was also the brains behind the immersive pop-up experience for the event, which sold out globally in 2019.
In 2020, he received an Emmy, and the following year, he also received a Producers Guild Award and a Golden Globe.
He is survived by Ellie, his 11-year-old daughter, and his wife, talent agent Heidi Feigin.
