The first female winner of Big Brother Naija Reality TV Show, the season 4 edition, Mercy Eke is in a celebration mood as she makes her debut in a Netflix film series.
The video-streaming platform and company, Netflix announced that a new nollywood series will be streaming from January 20, 2023 in the platform.
The reality TV star, and presenter, Mercy expressed her excitement as she noted that she has been working on the project for a while, with some of the most amazing actors in the entertainment industry.
She noted that she can’t contain her excitement as she wants people to see the movie in the coming year.
She wrote: “It’s been a long time coming, I can’t wait for you all to see this one, I did this with the most amazing, talented award winning Nollywood actors.🥰 #shantytown is a must-watch. 20th January 🎉🎉”
The 29 year old entrepreneur and influencer, Mercy who was romantically in a relationship with her fellow housemate, Ike during their time in the house but ended their relationship after the show, in a recent interview leaked an interesting fact about the BBNaija relationships.
According to her, loving Ike while in the house wasn’t a strategy for her as she flowed with him but she had play along with him after the show ended just to get her money.
In the interview, she said: “BBNaija relationships are the biggest scam, it was even original for me initially, as a matter of fact, if I had known that I was a strong housemate and that people loved me for me, I wouldn’t have bothered getting involved with him.
“I wouldn’t say it was a strategy, for me, we flowed with it but we had to put up a show even when not happy for people who aren’t even in relationships. If it is not working out, you move but in my case I couldn’t, I had to be their cos of money, otherwise, I won’t have my complete money.”
