Hasan Salihamidzic, the sporting director at Bayern Munich, has acknowledged that Sadio Mane, a forward, still needs “time” to adjust to the Bundesliga.
With Bayern Munich, Mane got off to a quick start, tallying three goals in his first three Bundesliga contests.
The Senegal international, though, went five games without scoring, two of which came in the Champions League just before the break.
Salihamidzic, who referred to Mane as one of the top players in the world, has now disclosed that he speaks with him frequently.
Salihamidzic told Bild on Sadio Mane’s predicament at Bayern: “Sadio still needs some time. He needs to get adjusted to the Bundesliga, but I constantly communicate with him and I know he will.
“Sadio is one of the best players in the world, we will still have a lot of joy with him”, he said.
Mane transferred from Liverpool to Bayern Munich over the summer.
Senegalese football player, Sadio Mane competes for both the Senegal national team and Bundesliga club Bayern Munich as a forward. He is renowned for his pressing, dribbling, and speed. He is regarded as one of the best players in the world and among the greatest African players of all time.
