Jurgen Klopp, manager of Liverpool, has stated that for his team to regain its best form, they must be more unexpected.
On Sunday in the Premier League, the Reds will play Arsenal.
Only two victories in their past five group games, and only two clean sheets in their first nine Premier League games, have been recorded by Klopp’s team.
As a result, they are currently 11 points adrift of the table-leading Gunners.
But midweek in the Champions League, Klopp used a 4-4-2 formation to help his team defeat Rangers 2-0.
“It’s important to become unpredictable again,” Jurgen Klopp said ahead of the trip to the Emirates.
“We need different systems for that as well, and so [4-3-3] is not the only system we can play.
“With a 4-4-2, is it 4-3-3, is it 4-5-1, is it 4-2-3-1, we don’t want to make it more complicated but there are obviously more systems available for us and we have to choose now which is the best for us to face the next opponent.”
