A group of Anambra yahoo boys have been reported to have r@ped an innocent Keke driver. The tricycle driver was tricked into entering the room by the yahoo boys, who were thought to be ritualists. They then locked the door and sodomized him. After that, the victim called the police to report the incident.
A tricycle driver was persuaded into some unidentified scammers’ room in Okpuno, Awka, Anambra State.
It was learned that the fraudsters, Anambra yahoo boys, who were thought to be ritualists, had asked the tricyclist to help them.
The tricycle driver drove the con artists to their home in Okpuno after accepting their requirements.
Sources with knowledge of the situation said that the accused lured the tricyclist into their room and raped him in turns there.
The victim went to the police station to file a report after the occurrence, which led to the arrest of one of the suspects.
Confirming the incident, Anambra Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Toochukwu Ikenga said other members of the gang fled.
His words: “The Commissioner of Police has ordered the transfer of the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department for discreet investigations.
The tricycle rider victim was hired by the defendants, who then enticed him into a room where they had carnal knowledge of him, according to preliminary information.
“However, despite the detained suspect’s denials, the doctor’s report’s results indicated that his anus had been penetrated.
As the inquiry is still ongoing, further information will be provided.
As he promised that everyone involved in the sodomizing of the tricyclist would be charged to court for prosecution, Ikenga stated that attempts are still being made to apprehend the eluding offenders.
