Chika Obi, a sports analyst, has commended the Flying Eagles for beating Italy by 2-0 in their second match at the ongoing under-20 World Cup in Argentina.
Obi gave the commendation in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Ota, Ogun.
NAN reports that with the Flying Eagles’ victory over Italy, Nigeria is now topping Group D with six points, while Italy occupies the second position with three points.
The sports analyst applauded the resilience of the Flying Eagles, adding that all the players did very well.
“I want to appeal to the technical crew of the Flying Eagles not to change the winning team except any one sustains injury,” he said.
Obi urged the Flying Eagles to remain focused and train well for their next match because Brazil is also a good team.
