Empress Gifty, a gospel singer from Ghana, has stirred up controversy online after alcohol was discovered on her table while she was performing live praise and worship.
A bottle of alcohol was plainly visible on her table in the video as she danced and sang along to her song, but it’s not clear if she drank it before going live on social media or it was just there for decoration.
Ephesians 5:18 says: “And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit”.
1 Timothy 5:23 says: “No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments”.
