Nigerian popular singer Naira Marley has been accused of being a drug traffic lord by a popular blog called Gistlover.
The internet has been ablaze with images and videos of Mohbad, the record label signee of Naira Marley, for days as the “Soapy” crooner is now being charged with running a major drug operation.
According to Gistlover, Naira Marley employs the record label signees to promote narcotics, and when they reject, he strikes them.
Recall that Mohbad, whose true name is Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, in a tweet accused his boss Naira Marley and his gang of attacking him for requesting to change his manager whom he said Is Naira Marley’s brother.
Mohbad, a Marlian Records artist, also posted a video of him wearing a white singlet with bruises on his body.
His tweet reads: “Just because I want to change my manager which is their brother, see what they did to me at Marlian House. I’m not high oo cos that’s what Dey always say just to die down everything. World pls help me oo I’m dying inside”.
Naira Marley, the owner of Marlian Records, reacted to the charge by calling the incident a “family affair.”
In response to the incident, the singer stated in an Instagram live video that Mohbad was probably “high” (drunk) at the time of the complaint.
“Obviously, he (Mohbad) is not in his right sense. It is obvious he is not in the right state of mind. Because why will I touch Mohbad or allow anyone to touch Mohbad?,” he said.
Also on his Twitter handle, Naira Marley wrote, “Mohbad has a history of getting intoxicated which affects his emotions and actions. #ImNotPerfect. However, all issues would be resolved amicably within the record label.”
“I need my bro Mohbad to come on live so u guys can see I don’t have any reasons to lie on him,” he wrote in another tweet.
