Before their Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, Arsenal has confirmed that attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe had surgery on his leg.
This was revealed by The Gunners on Thursday in a statement posted on their website.
The player underwent a succesful surgery in London few days ago and he is currently undergoing rehabilitation.
The statement partly reads, “This successful surgery took place in London in the past few days, and Emile’s rehabilitation programme is already underway. We are hopeful that Emile will return to full training in December.
“Everyone at the club will now be supporting and working hard with Emile to get him back on the pitch as soon as possible.”
Remember that last week, Thomas Partey, an Arsenal midfielder, was injured and unable to play in an international friendly match between Ghana and Brazil.
The former Atletico Madrid player hurt his knee during warm-up before Ghana’s match against Brazil.
