According to Pastor William Kumuyi, General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, God has not revealed to him who will be the future president of Nigeria.
However, he pledged to announce who will be Nigeria’s next president as soon as he heard from God. This is what Kumuyi said in a press conference he gave to media in Minna on Saturday at the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), which had the subject “God of All Possibilities.”
“I cannot tell you a lie. God has not shown me anything. He has not found it fit to tell me. He does not tell everybody, everything. Who am I to tell God, why haven’t you told me about the next President? When he tells me, I will come and tell you.”
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the Federal government are at odds, and only discussion will break it, according to the General Superintendent, who added that resorting to litigation, making threats, and staging a string of protests are not the way to address the problem.
The university needs to look at what the government is saying, what is their abilities, what can they do while the government should look at what ASUU is saying, what are they vasking for, their rights and how to meet that right. What is needed in this case is to look at how they can adjust to each other and look for ways of fulfilling it,” Pastor William Kumuyi said.
