Sunday Uduji, a middle-aged Nigerian man, is accused of killing Mrs. Eucharia Okoro, the wife of his brother.

The incident took place on September 4 in the village of Ohaja in the town of Awgu.
Sources claim that on August 20, 2022, the suspect, Uduji, beat the brother’s wife into submission. She was then taken to a hospital, where, according to a source, she was kept in a coma until her death on September 4.
Sadly, the source claimed that when the deceased’s relatives reported the case to the Awgu Division of the Nigerian Police Force, personnel at the station requested payment of N22,500 before proceeding with the investigation.
The source said, “When the father of the deceased, Mr Jarista Okoro reported the case to Awgu police station, he was asked to bring N22,500 before they could incident the case.
“One ASP Oke Vincent told Mr Okoro that the DPO Awgu said he should give the police the said amount of N22,500. When the money was subsequently given to ASP Oke Vincent, he directed that the money be paid to Investigating Police Officer (IPO), one Inspector Chidera.”
