The Labour Party’s Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi has taken to his verified Twitter handle to express his delight over the appointment of Nigerian Born, Kemi Badenoch as the Secretary of State for International Trade and President of the Board of Trade, by the new UK Prime Minister, Truss Liz.

Stating further, he said, “By Kemi Badenoch’s appointment into this very powerful position, my confidence is renewed in the abundant potentials with which Nigerians are endowed”.
Peter Obi is of the view that he confidence is renewed by the confidence with which Nigerians are endowed, further stating that his journey to rescue Nigeria has to deal with working with the most innovative and productive minds.
