Popular Nigerian Lawyer based Abroad, Reno Omokri has taken to his Twitter handle to express his dissatisfaction on the increamemt of Ministers’ allowances by Buhari.
Reno stated that Next year’s budget will be funded by borrowing due to Buhari’s actions and as such Nigeria now owe almost N50 trillion. He also said that ASUU is also on strike and the government is broke as well. Given all these reasons, Reno Omokri went against Buhari’s actions, saying this wasn’t the right time to do this. He then stated that Buhari’s regime needs another EndSARS.
His tweet read, “How can Buhari increase Ministers allowances at these times? Next year’s budget will be funded by borrowings. We now owe almost ₦50 trillion. ASUU is on strike. Government is broke. And this is when Buhari decides to do this? Buhari’s regime needs another #EndSARS!.
