After years of allegations of sexual abuse, American musician R.Kelly was On Wednesday, sentenced to 30 years in prison for racketeering and other offences.
According to the prosecution, he utilised his fame and fortune to seduce young girls and boys as well as ladies for sex.
With his Brooklyn sentencing, Mr. Kelly, 55, has fallen from being the king of R&B and a blockbuster hitmaker to an ostracised performer with a marred artistic legacy.
Recall that the disgraced musician was found guilty in 2021 of decades-long sexual abuse of women, boys, and girls.
R&B artist Aaliyah was one of R.Kelly victims, whom Kelly illicitly married.
