The former Governor of Anambra State and the Presidential flag bearer of Labour Party Peter Obi has departed for Egypt on a 3-day study visit.
This was disclosed through his verified Twitter handle on June 14, 2022.
According to Peter Obi, the study visit will enable him to have the knowledge and understanding of different African Countries.
He said while in Egypt he is expected to understudy the country’s power sector, education, planning, and finance sectors.

“I just departed for Egypt on a 3-day visit as part of my detailed study of comparable countries to Nigeria. In Egypt, I am expected to understudy, among others, the Egyptian Power Sector, Education, Planning and Finance Sectors”, he wrote.
Recall that Peter Obi who is the youngest contestant in the 2023 Presidential election defected to the Labour Party over his former party People Democratic party PDP irregularities before their party’s primary election.
