Instagram influencer and entrepreneur Nelly Agbogu popularly known as Naijabrandchick has shown proof of paying back 500k Jaruma gave her to support her trade fair event years back and vows to sue her for defamation of character.
According to Naijabrandchick who took to her Instagram handle to share her own side of the story, Jaruma is struggling with her relevance online thus the post is a “chase clout post”
She wrote;
“I know you are struggling with your relevance online thus that post is a “chase clout post” and I am supposed to ignore, however I am sincerely tired of ignoring.
In 2018 when I started @nbctradefair and hit a brick wall with LCC (SWIPE LEFT) I spoke about it on my page and you paid 500k to me.

I got the LCC issue sorted NOT WITH HER HELP OR MONEY (continue to swipe left) and when I posted it, you called me to ask for a refund since the money issue with LCC had been sorted out which I did asap (swipe to the end to see).
I went to Dubai in 2019 with 3 of my staff (14th May 2019 to be precise) and you gave my three staff a million naira which you posted a video about this back then on your page for being a good staff to me (unfortunately I don’t have the video but those who follow you way back can remember)
These are the only two transactions I had with you.

Recall that Kayamata seller, Hauwa Saidu Mohammed, who is popularly known as Jaruma Empire has called out those she has helped in the past to help her out.
The Kayamata seller, who is no doubt going through a rough time due to low sales, has appealed to Ubi Franklin, BBNaija’s reality stars Tacha, Ella, Esther, and others for financial assistance.
She claims that she was there to aid them when they needed it, and that they should repay her kindness.
Jaruma demanded that they repay the entire amount she had spent on them.
She wrote, “Jaruma was there for u when u needed money. Jaruma was good to u. Jaruma helped u. Can u now do the same for Jaruma? Please, I need u now… Pls return my N500,000”.
