The lawmaker representing Ikorodu Constituency 1 in Lagos House of Assembly (LAHA), Mr Sanai Agunbiade, on Sunday appealed to his constituents to grant him another term.
Agunbiade, who is the Majority Leader, LAHA, on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), made the appeal during the presentation of his scorecard at his Constituency Office in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
He has been a member of the LAHA since 2017.
The majority leader, appreciated his constituents for the opportunity they granted him repeatedly to represent them in the assembly.
“This opportunity and resultant mandate has accorded me the magnitude of legislative experience.
“The experience has equipped me to accomplish the dividends of democracy that I have brought to the constituency in different forms and areas over the years,” he said.

Sanai Agunbiade said with the current term now winding up, there was still the need to improve on the glowing face of Ikorodu constituency 1 in LAHA.
He said that Ikorodu deserved a pride of place in the scheme of things in Lagos State.
The lawmaker said his conviction to return was rooted in his knowledge, capacity and desire to work with other like-minds to lead the division in the direction of growth and development.
Agunbiade reeled out his achievements in the current term, saying he had facilitated numerous development projects as well as moved motions and sponsored bills that had improved the society since 2019.
He listed some motions he moved as those on ‘Need to curb nefarious activities of surveyors’, ‘Need to curb incidents of rape, defilement of minors and other sexual abuses in Lagos State’ among others.
Agunbiade said he facilitated the employment of 110 youths and recommended 15 others for the ongoing youths employment in the state.
He said that his youth empowerment programmes also benefited his constituents
On education, the legislator said he facilitated renovation and construction of schools.
He said that he sponsored the yearly Oba Kabir Shotobi Mini marathon for all public and private schools as well as provided 800 free Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms for students.
“I also played a significant role in the law converting Lagos State Polytechnic to University of Science and Technology.
“On health, I donated 10 hospital beds to Ikorodu General Hospital in support of the giant strides and good work of the Director.
“I have also donated transformers to many communities, provided boreholes, empowered market men and women and the widows,” he said.
Agunbiade said he facilitated the construction of drainages and sponsored ASA festival which would be integrated into the cultural heritage of Lagos in due course.
