Tonto Dikeh has apologized to her fans and followers over a failed influencing deal where investors lost their money
The Nollywood star also claimed that she has been receiving death threats since 2020 because of her association with the perfume brand.
Tonto Dikeh acknowledged that she, too, had been a victim of the brand in an Instagram post on Thursday announcing the end of her brand ambassadorship.
The mother-of-one also expressed regret to individuals who had lost money due to their investment in the company.

“This is a disclaimer and a long overdue apology to all the victims of Wale Jana and his brand,” she said with a photo of him.
“I’d like to make it clear that I, King Tonto Dikeh, am no longer associated with Wale Jana or his perfume line.”
“I’ve been receiving death threats since 2020.”
“However, I am well aware that as their/his brand ambassador, I am responsible for over 99.9% of their/his investors, and I am deeply sorry for this.
“Normally, when we enter into a contract with a brand, I conduct thorough background checks, but I believe I failed here.” I wish everyone the best of luck and hope you all recover quickly from your losses!
“I apologize once more. I will work relentlessly with the appropriate authorities to see that you all receive justice (refunds).”
