The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has warned Nigerians not to patronize herbal concoction hawkers.
According to NAFDAC DG Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, such concoctions lack storage standards and may have come from an untrustworthy source.
Adeyeye went on to say that while some herbal medicines are effective, consumers must ensure that they have passed NAFDAC’s safety and efficacy tests.
