UAE lifts flight ban: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has lifted a flight ban for Nigerians with effect from Thursday, August 5.
This comes 5 months after the ban on Covid-19 protocols was imposed.
Emirates announced on its website that the UAE authorities have announced that eligible travellers from Nigeria and ten other countries will be allowed to travel to and through the UAE beginning August 5, 2021.

India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Vietnam, South Africa, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Nepal are among the countries involved.
“We will publish details of the latest protocols and requirements on our travel requirements page as soon as these are available,” Emirates stated in the notice.
