Cultists kill final year: Suspected cultists have assassinated Igyagher Isaac, a 500-level student of the Federal University of Agriculture in Makurdi, Benue state.
The Agricultural and Environmental Engineering student was killed on Friday night, July 31, in a lodge near Gabiz Hotel, opposite Benue Judges Lodge in Makurdi, according to reports.
According to an eyewitness, Isaac was shot dead and his body was burned on a pile of his clothes by suspected Aye and Vikings confraternity members.
Although details of the incident are still sketchy, close friends and colleagues said Isaac was not a cultist and that he was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
It was also discovered that the deceased had planned an anti-cult campaign in 2020, as confirmed by one Japhet Terseer.

In the meantime, friends have taken to social media to pay tribute to the young man.
