FC Barcelona Neymar reach: FC Barcelona and Neymar have reached an amicable agreement to resolve their long-running contract dispute with the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) forward.
The Brazilian international claimed the Spanish La Liga giants owed him 43.6 million euros (51.3 million dollars) in unpaid bonuses.
After signing a new five-year contract with the Catalan club in 2016, Neymar insisted he was entitled to the massive sum as a loyalty bonus.
In June 2020, a judge ruled in favour of Barcelona, ordering Neymar to pay his former employers 6.7 million euros.
On Monday, Barca announced that the case had been closed.
