How to cook beans: Hey, lovelies welcome to how to do with Lily, we will be making beans with fresh tomatoes and smoked fish on today’s episode.
Beans is one food I hated so much when I was younger but recently I discover that I crave for beans a lot.
It’s all started when I tried a particular recipe; before I go ahead I want to encourage mummies to make their beans more tasty and desirable, so our children will always be the ones to demand for it.
Ingredients
Iron beans (I prefer white beans but you can use the one you prefer)
Red oil
Seasoning cube
Salt
Fresh tomatoes
Fresh Pepper and crayfish
Onions
Smoked fish
Now let’s cook
De-stone your beans
Wash carefully; try to look out for stone (I hate that part)
Put water on the fire, add your beans to the boiling water, then allow your beans to boil very well
Remove the water
Pour in different water and continue your cooking, cook beans until it becomes tender
Chop your tomatoes and onions
Blend your pepper and crayfish
De-bone and wash your fish
Once your beans is tender to the point you want
Put an empty frying pan on fire

Pour in your red oil, allow it for a while then add your onions
Add your tomatoes and stir
Keep staring until properly fried
When they are properly fried, add your pepper and crayfish
Add seasoning cube and salt to taste
Add small water to it, put your fish and allow it to cook for a while
Pour your fried sauce into the beans (make sure the water in the beans is little and they is no water left in the sauce)
Allow the mixture to cook for a while
Taste to see if seasoning cube and salt is enough (make sure the red oil comes out i.e. let it be noticed)
After cooking for a while your beans is ready
Fry your plantain or you can eat it with cassava flakes or bread
Enjoy yourself.
