Alex Kleason the husband of Nollywood actress Ekene Umenwa has replied to people criticising his wife for kneeling before gospel singer Moses Bliss at their wedding reception on Saturday, November 4th 2023.
The action of Ekene who knelt before the singer who came to her wedding as a surprise which was put together by her friend Deacon Famous generated controversial reactions from Netizens who said she disrespected her husband.
Some went to the extent of saying that the marriage would have ended at that spot if they were her husband, while others said her action showed that her marriage would not last as she would honour religious leaders more than her husband.
Reacting to the people’s opinion, the husband Alex Kleason said people should leave his wife alone as he is not complaining.
Reacting to the video made by his wife’s friend Deacon Famous who was the MC of the wedding where he gave his account of what led to her kneeling before Moses, Alex said, “Deacon you get time to explain, I am not complaining God bless you real good my friend.”
