A controversial X influencer Daniel Regha has called out Afrobeat singer Davido for claiming he doesn’t know the winner of Big Brother Naija Level-Up season Phyna.
Recall that Davido and Phyna have been going on and off on each other on the microblogging App after the singer liked a post that called those who support her us$less.
Sharing his take on the ongoing drama between the two celebrities, Daniel said Davido lied about saying he didn’t know Phyna.
Daniel noted that if Davido knows Nengi a former housemate of the show who also featured in his music video but don’t know Phyna is obviously a lie.
He however, added that the singer could have acknowledged his mistake and apologise to Phyna instead of belittling her.
“Davido knows Nengi & most BBN hms but claims he doesn’t know Phyna? That’s obviously a lie, cos he’s quite active on social media & must have seen Phyna repeatedly. BBN aside, a foreigner with a huge fanbase won’t get the same response. Him simply acknowledging his mistake would’ve been enough, there was no need to belittle the lady (unprovoked). ” Daniel said.
