Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka, the Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry in Enugu, Nigeria, has closed his church for a month to go on a month-long private prayer retreat.
The church stated this in a statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday, May 11, 2021
The embattled Mbaka has recently been in the eye of the storm after a fall out with the Nigerian presidency and after his followers vandalized the home of Enugu diocese Bishop Callistus Onaga.
“Our Spiritual Director, Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka, would like to inform his beloved adorers that he has begun a private prayer retreat that will end on June 10, 2021.
“As a result, no ministry activities shall be held on the ministry grounds until he returns.”

“He directs that members of the ministry observe this period of his retreat in the same way that they did during the ministry’s usual January breaks, by praying at their homes, being charitable, and fasting according to their ability. Adoration! “Holy Spirit is our power.”
Recall that Mbaka has apologized to the Catholic Church and Bishop Onaga last Sunday for all the trouble he has caused.
On worship days, the Adoration Ministry grounds are frequently filled with a congregation that believes every word of the controversial priest.
