The former housemate of the lockdown edition of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show Erica Nlewedim has lent her voice to the killing of Akwa Ibom job seeker Ini Ubong.
The reality star made a series of tweets regarding the death of the young girl who was said to be raped and killed by someone who promised her a job opportunity on Twitter.
According to reports, Ini met her untimely death after embarking on a journey of no return with the hope of getting employment by a man who commented on her job-seeking post on Twitter.
However, the death of the promising young girl has generated reactions from Nigerians of which Erica is not left behind.
In her tweets Erica said, unemployment and Inflation have made life difficult for almost everyone in Nigeria.

“We’ll complain and trend the topics for a few weeks but those who can actually do something about these crimes don’t do much. We come back in twitter a few months later to complain about the same thing with different victims,” she tweeted.
However, Okido Macdon, the spokesperson of the Akwa Ibom police command, announced the arrest of Uduak Frank Akpan on Sunday, saying Akpan confessed to luring Umoren to his house under the guise of offering her a job.
He was also quoted as saying that after her death, he sexually and physically assaulted her.
According to Macdon, the suspect subsequently buried the victim in a grave in his father’s house.
“The perpetrator who confessed to luring his victim to his house under the guise of offering her a job, but instead sexually and physically assaulting her, resulting to her death. To hide his tracks, he dragged her and buried her in a shallow grave in his father’s compound,” the spokesperson stated.
