Today we will be making edikaikong soup aka vegetable soup
Ingredients;
Shaki
Roundabout
Kpanla fish
Beef
Kpomo
Liver
Smoke catfish (optional)
Ugu (vegetable)
Waterleaf
Palm oil
Pepper
Crayfish
Seasoning cube
Periwinkles
Stockfish
Now let’s cook this sumptuous soup
Wash all your meat
Give special attention to kpomo, shaki and roundabout
Steam all your meat (with small water)
Add seasoning to taste
Wash your periwinkles (with shell or unshelled)
De-bone your fish (kpanla and catfish) and wash
Wash your stockfish
Wash your waterleaf and ugu

Chop them very well
Make sure you chop them separately
Blend your pepper and crayfish
Put your pot of waterleaf on fire
Allow it to cook
(Our mission is to make sure that the water in it dries completely)
While is still cooking
Add your red oil and still allow to cook
Make sure your pot is covered
Add your stockfish, kpanla and catfish
Cover the pot and still cook for a while till water dries
Pour in your steamed meat and taste to see if you need to add an extra seasoning cube and salt
Add your pepper and crayfish
Taste to see if the seasoning is enough
Cover your pot and let everything cook very well
Make sure all the ingredients are enough
Add your ugu
Let it cook for 2 minutes
Stir and taste to see if ingredients are enough
Then your soup is ready
Serve with any kind of swallow.
