A social media user identified as Mr Shizzy has called out Afrobeat fast-rising star, Asake, accusing him of losing touch with his fan base and failing to engage with them on various platforms.
Mr Shizzy recounted the early days of Asake’s music career, where the artist usually engaged with fans through funny promos, dance challenges, and social media engagements.
Mr Shizzy who further commended Asake’s boss, Olamide’s dedication to his fan base, expressing that the ‘Baddo’ crooner artist used to acknowledge his fanbase for about eight years, noted that Asake isn’t following his footsteps.

Taking to Twitter, he wrote: “When Olamide started, Olamide was very consistent for at least straight 8 years going all out to interact with his fans granting both Local and international interview, doing different dance Challenge, but you think it’s time to relax”.
