A popular Nigerian chef, widely known as Chef Dammy has addressed those using her name to chase clout on social media.
The Ekiti base Chef, Dammy revealed that many people are announcing that they are giving her money and gift items and she’s not comfortable with it as it brings threats to her life.
Chef Dammy expressed in a video making rounds online that anyone that wants to gift her should inform her first before announcing, and not the other way round.
She further added that she appreciates the support she’s getting from her fan, but her security should be considered.
“Please if you want to gift me money or just anything come to my dm, call me or email me; don’t post it on social media. Some people are using me to get clout and it’s causing insecurity and threat to me. If you want me to post it online I’ll do it, but tell me first. I appreciate your support, but my security is to be considered too,” she said.
