Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, a Nigerian singer has declared himself the modern-day Fela.
He declared this after receiving an award at the 2023 Golden Stars Awards.
During his appreciation speech, Portable, who vowed to bring home a Grammy award expressed his gratitude for the honorarium, on receiving the award.
He excitedly took to his Instagram page to also express his thanks to his fan base for their massive support and described himself as the newborn Fela.
Portable, who took to his Instagram page to share with his fans wrote:
“Akoi Grace. Ika of Africa. Kinimah Fajah Trending Artist of the Year. Portable Omolalomi newborn Fela. Wahala musician. Big thanks to all my lovers outside Zazuu Akoi Million fans”.
