The ongoing old and new cats drama on the internet is getting messier as rapper Yung6ix in a trending video told Davido to know his place, saying he and Wizkid are the first singers to make it big in the industry and not Davido and Wizkid as he claims.
Recall that Davido stirred up controversy after his viral claim of he and Wizkid were the first Afrobeat singers to make it big in the Nigerian music industry, while he referred to Burna Boy, Rema, Mayorkun, Fireboy and others as the new cats.
Though Davido’s claim did not go well with some of his colleagues and the above-mentioned singer’s fans who are dragging him on the internet.
However, rapper Yung6ix is now claiming to be one of the old cats and not Davido.
Davido’s fans who are defending him amidst the ongoing drama have told Yung6ix to also know his place in the industry and stop comparing himself to Davido.
