A popular Catholic Rev Father Oluomo has reacted to the high fee paid to Gospel singers to sing in a Church program.
The Rev Father who is known for speaking on national issues, in a video that has gone viral on social media said the church of Christ has turned worship to entertainment because of the amount charged by Gospel singers.
According to him, there is nothing special about bringing the author of a particular song if a church choir can sing the song.
He noted that if the author of the song must come and perform the song in any church, he or she must be paid and that is where the huge payment comes in.
He disclosed that the ‘Jesus you love me too much crooner ‘ Mercy Chinwo charges about 10 million Naira to perform in a church service.
