Popular Twitter influencer, Daniel Regha has suggested a way out of the current fuel scarcity and hike in price in the country.
There have been reports of fuel scarcity fuel in Nigeria since the new president hinted that he would remove the fuel subsidy. However, Daniel Regha has given a clue on how we can resolve the matter of fuel price inflation.
The Twitter critic noted that if Nigerians decide not to buy fuel that the filling stations will sell fuel for the appropriate price and the government might reconsider its decision to remove the subsidy.
He wrote: “If the majority of Nigerians refuse to buy fuel, many filling stations will sell for the normal price, & govt might reconsider the fuel subsidy removal; But no, Nigerians are already queuing, always quick to prove they’ve money. This is why the govt doesn’t care, we encourage nonsense”.
