Fast rising Nigerian singer, Rema has reacted after being recognized by Guinness World Records as his song ‘calm down’ becomes the first single to tops the MENA chart.
The ‘Dumebi’ crooner thanked and gave gratitude to his creator for helping him to achieve such feat.
Rema who was overwhelmed with joy and excitement gave all the glory to God, who is his force behind his success.
Taken to twitter to react to the Guinness World Record, Rema wrote: “Truly grateful for the recognition, big one for the culture. All glory to God 🤲🏾”
Announcing this, the GWR announced wrote on it’s Twitter handle: “Calm Down by Rema became the first single to top the official MENA chart.
The original song combined with the remix featuring Selena Gomez now has over one billion streams.”
