Hilda Bassy Effiong, also known as Hilda Baci, a Nigerian chef, broke the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by one individual with a 100-hour, 40-minute cooking time.
The 27-year-old from Akwa Ibom State Nigeria, began cooking on Thursday, May 11, 2023, and surpassed India’s Chef Lata Tondon, who established the record in 2019 with 87 hours 45 minutes.

The decision taken by Hilda has opened doors of fame for herself and her brand as she now has one million followers on the micro-blogging app Instagram and huge visibility on other social media platforms.
