The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin has replied to Peter Okoye (Psquare) who apologized to the Nigerian police force on behalf of his colleague, Seun Kuti.
Seun Kuti, in a recent video which went viral on social media; was captured physically assaulting a policeman, however, Peter Okoye, one of the Psquare brothers has apologized on his behalf asking the Police to forgive him after the Inspector General of Police ordered his arrest.
“Dear @PoliceNG, What Seun did was wrong! Please temper justice with mercy” Peter wrote on his Twitter handle.
The Lagos State Police PRO on seeing his post replied: “Just in case you didn’t know or have forgotten, we don’t give justice. The court does! You might want to redirect this to the judiciary. You are welcome.”
