Odunayo Adekuoroye, an Olympic-bound wrestler from Ondo State, has won gold in the 57kg division of the wrestling event at the ongoing National Sports Festival (NSF).
Adekuoroye stamped her authority on the game as world number two in her battle, beating Jumoke Adesoye of Kano State 10-0.
Princess Bankole, who won a bronze medal for Ondo State in the 50kg division of the wrestling event, joined Adekuoroye on the medals podium.
Isaac John of Ondo State won a silver medal in the 74kg men’s event after defeating his rival.

In other events, Ondo State’s Joy Usenbor earned a bronze medal in the 400m women’s final of the athletics event with a time of 54.00 seconds.
In the male table tennis game, the Ondo State team beat their Lagos counterparts 3-0 to advance to the final.
In addition, in the female boxing event, Kemi Aliu qualified for the final in the heavyweight division.
