Team Kaduna has won its first gold medal at the ongoing 20th National Sports Festival (NSF) in Benin.
Kaduna won the medal in cricket after defeating the host team in the male T20 event on Thursday, April 8, 2021.
Kaduna defeated Edo by six wickets.

Earlier, Kwara defeated Lagos by two wickets to win the bronze medal in the T20 male event’s third-place contest.
Following the completion of the six-a-side and T20 events in cricket, the ODI event is set to begin on Friday, April 9, 2021.
However, in the cricket competitions that have so far ended, Team Edo has won three gold medals and has now lost one to Kaduna.
