Allison Obiajunwa, an Abia electrician, is said to have died unexpectedly after being electrocuted while on duty.
Obiajunwa passed on a few days before his wife’s funeral, according to her family. The unexpected death of their son has shocked the family.
The electrician had recently lost his wife and was intending to bury her a few days before he died.
The Abia electrician was electrocuted while attempting to connect and repair a transformer cable in the state’s Obingwa LGA.
A source said “The worst of it all is that his dead wife is still in the morgue, waiting to be buried in few days time. This is double tragedy or the family. We got to know that the electrician didn’t wear safety kits when the tragic incident happened. I don’t know whether to blame the company or the dead man for this criminal negligence”.
