An explosion inside a family’s home in the eastern Indian state of Jharkhand has killed four members of the family, including two children and two women.
The blast occurred in the Tisri region of Giridih district, about 221 kilometres northeast of Ranchi, Jharkhand’s capital on Monday 29, March 2021.
The cause of the explosion has yet to be identified, according to the police.
Meanwhile, a case has been opened and an investigation has been ordered.
However, police claim it was caused by a cooking gas cylinder explosion.
The gas cylinder intended for cooking food appears to have exploded inside the home, according to the police official.
