Award-winning Nigerian singer David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has won three awards at the 8th Afrima Awards event held on Sunday, January 15, 2023.
The Afrima awards are: ” Stand Strong feat. SS Choir – Best African Inspirational Music”.
“Champion Sound feat. Focalistic – Best Duo/group in African Electro”.
” Who’s True – Tion Wayne feat. Davido- Best Act in diaspora (Male)”.
Recall that the father of three lost his son on October 31, 2022, and has since been off social media but made a historical appearance on the last day of the Qatar World Cup where he performed alongside world singers.
Meanwhile, Davido has officially made Chioma his wife after paying her bride prize in full and has since updated his Wikipedia profile to that of a married man.
Snippets of the marriage rites were also shared as Davido confirms it by having a matching tattoo of their names on each other’s fingers.
However, diggers association has unravelled what Chioma was doing on phone while her receiving the inscription of Davido’s name on her finger.
According to the diggers, the new bride was checking a menstrual circle app which indicates that she might be pregnant.
Chioma and Davido are yet to make an official statement on the recent happenings around them as they now speak with either pictures, or videos and in some cases remain silent.
The fans of the singer are patiently waiting for March 2023 to come as he had announced in 2022 to be his come back month.
