Ex-Big Brother Naija star, Cyph has sent a heartfelt apology to Chichi‘s fans over his statement earlier as their fav turns 23 today, the 10th of January.
Chichi stirred up a controversy on the internet after she took to social media to announce her new age as 23 in a Tweet ahead of her birthday.
Her revelation did not go down well with a number of trolls, who in turn unravelled some of her throwback photos.
Reacting to the ongoing heat, Cyph took to Twitter and said:
“I don laugh sote I dey cry for this app. Make person enjoy birthday in peace haba.
Nevertheless, the reality TV star, Cyph tendered an apology for making such an “insensitive statement” concerning Chichi earlier.
In his apology, Cyph Tweeted:
“I apologise if I sounded insensitive. Its being deleted. Guess the gone of the voice wasn’t right. But I still stand by my word!!Y’all should really allow her to celebrate her birthday haba!!”.
As Chichi celebrated her birthday her fans surprised her with 2 million naira as a gift.
I’m adding to that, her fans gifted her a huge money cake, a flower bouquet, sneakers and other expensive luxury gifts.
Carried away by their sweet gesture, the 23rd years old Chichi took the space to appreciate them for the love. The ever-excited reality star showed her gratitude to her fans while vowing to remain faithful and thankful to them.
Meanwhile, Twitter has suspended the official account of Chi Chi after it was heavily reported by Netizens who said she lied about her age.
They said the reality star who is an alleged mother of one should be in her thirties and not the 23 years she claimed.
They also dug up the old pictures of ChiChi with her alleged ex-husband and her beautiful daughter who looks like her.
